There are rare faience or glass amulets of a mummy on its bier1. The bier has a lion’s head and forelegs, and a lion’s tail and hindlegs. A mummy lies on it and the god is beyond the mummy. Anubis faces to the right, holds a jar? on his raised left hand and lays his right on the mummy. These amulets were found at the chest, stomach or knees of mummies of the Ptolemaic Period1
