This amulet was not described by Petrie and Andrews did not indicate it is a rare one1. Indeed, there are many in the old collection of the British Museum she did describe and in Le Louvre, but very few elsewhere. These ‘sun stones’ were associated with resurrection and made in various materials and colours in the Late Period
