Finally, there are also some rare double amulets of lion and bull foreparts of the Late Period. They seem to link their owner with daily regeneration of the sun1. Most are of rather poor execution2. Andrews hypothesized that there was some confusion in the Late Period with the double animal symbolism and the sun1 (or the moon). Except for Aker, double bulls and double lion and bull amulets there is no clear rationale for these representations
