Many human-form amulets were made in the early dynastic Period1. Most are males, less females and a very few children. They are reported as ‘hatted’, ‘bearded’, ‘kilted’, ‘crouched’, etc. Their significance is unknown. Materials include bone, ivory and semi-precious stones1
