The leg amulet, often described as a foot one, intended to improve mobility1. There are right and left examples as both amulets were often produced by pairs2. Most are in carnelian, but there are few examples in faience and other materials2. Period: Old Kingdom, Dynasty 5-61 or First Intermediate Period to Middle Kingdom Dynasty 10-122
