Undescribed amulets by both Petrie and Andrews were found in Naqada I-II burials, some lying along the forearm of the body with remnants of leather or thongs at bottom notches1. They have a triangular face, inlaid eyes (and nipples for a few, suggesting that women were also intended), and are in ivory, bone and stone1
