Renenutet was the harvest goddess (a beneficial snake protecting the crops from rodents), a divine nurse and the protectress of the king1. She is cobra-headed, wears a modius of nine uraei and is enthroned suckling an infant king. This very rare amulet is lacking in all major museum collections2. Presumably Dynasty 18
